Whitefield AODS are proud to announce our 2019 Production will be Little Shop of Horrors. The show will be performed from Wednesday 16th – Saturday 19th October 2019 7.30pm at The Met Theatre Bury. Why not come on down to our Launch night and meet our wonderful production team and hear about the vision for the show?

Auditions: 

Auditions for the Production will take place on Sunday 28th April 2019 (Times to be confirmed via email.) To express an interest in auditioning and to received the audition material and information pack please contact our General Secretary Jeanette Brown who is organising the auditions. ( Material will be available following the Launch Night on 28.3.19. Please email Jeanette : secretary@waods.co.uk 

Closing date for interest for auditions is Thursday 18th April 2019.

Mondays 7.30pm – 10:00pm starting on Monday 13th May 2019.
Thursday Rehearsals commencing from Thursday 25th July 19, 7.30pm -10:00pm
Sunday Rehearsals commencing from Sunday 15th September 2019. Time TBC

We need you as members to be voting for your committee and supporting the society or even becoming apart of the hard working committee that helps you as members have the successful shows which we put on but also help you to continue to enjoy your hobby . 
Its really important as a member you come to the AGM meetings. Whitefield AODS is your society and we need YOU as members to help keep us going. 
All members are invited to your society Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting is to be held on Thursday 28th March 2019. 7.15pm at . The doors will be open at 6.30pm for you to be able to read the previous minutes and grab a drink.
Your committee needs to be elected by the members of the society . Nominations need to be received by the current General Secretary Jeanette Brown By NOON on Thursday 21st March 2019.
Nominations can be emailed back to secretary@waods.co.uk or posted to Miss Jeanette Brown, General Secretary, Whitefield AODS: 1 Neilston Rise, Lostock, Bolton, BL1 5 XZ. ( please check with the people you are nominating they are happy to be elected )
Each year the executive committee is nominated to serve for a period of 1 year. In addition the management committee are also selected. we currently have 3 positions available on the management committee to serve for a period of 2 years and a further 4 positions on the committee to serve for a 1 year period. The management committee is made up of 8 members in addition to the executive members as per the society rules.

Being on the committee is a hard but rewarding jobs and without the committee we would not have our fabulous, friendly and welcoming society.
